About Harmonic Discovery
We are a drug discovery company developing a new generation of therapeutics that embrace the complexity of disease. Currently available approaches for creating drugs work on the principal of finding one drug-one protein 'magic bullets'. However, diseases such as cancer and autoimmunity are often the result of several dysregulated proteins across many distinct biological pathways.
We are building a computational-experimental platform to design therapeutics that can target several disease-causing proteins at once. By designing multi-specific drugs, we are able to create therapeutics that are more efficacious and safer than existing medicines.

About Firezone
Firezone secures remote access to networks and applications for organizations of all sizes around the world. We’re building a next-generation, open-source network security platform that leverages new tech like WireGuard and eBPF to provide a run-anywhere firewall for the work-anywhere era.
We’re backed by world-class investors such as Y Combinator, 1984 Ventures, Uncorrelated Ventures, Gaingels, Amino Capital, and many notable angel investors.
Perks
- Remote-first work with the option to work locally out of our Mountain View office if you’re in the Bay Area. We attend conferences and hold fun off-sites, so you’ll still get the chance to meet everyone on the team if you work remotely.
- Flexible budget for your ideal workspace setup. Whether it’s a custom-built beefy Linux desktop or an Apple-powered mobile workstation — build your dream battlestation to get your work done! Use whatever gear suits you best.
- Comprehensive medical/dental/vision plans.
- Flexible work hours and paid vacation.
- $100/month stipend to support open source.
About the role
We’re looking for someone to educate customer and partners about the importance of open-source and network security. You’ll create technical content, run workshops, solve customer problems, and lead growth for Firezone's users. This role is perfect for someone passionate about technology, who wants to make helping teams with network security their full time job.
Key features that make the role unique:
- Deliver customer success at scale - It will involve 1 on 1 demonstrations, creating technical content, and building a user community that helps each other. You'll decide on the right mix and lead the effort to make our customers successful.
- You’ll develop a deep understanding of our users and how they think about network security. This knowledge will be key to shaping our product roadmap and impacting our strategic decisions around marketing and sales.
Required Skills
- Excellent written communicator. You will create code samples, demos, prototypes, articles, and tutorials to engage technical audiences at scale.
- Experience developing, supporting, or advocating for a technical product as a developer, administrator, developer advocate, or community manager.
- You have experience blogging/writing technical articles / delivering presentations / creating effective educational material.
- Developer-centric and willing to step into our user’s shoes to better understand their needs.
- Passionate about helping others with their security success.
Bonus points if you:
- You have recognition and credibility in your technical community.
- Have experience working with technical products, in particular, network security products.
- Previously worked at a startup or have an interest in startups.
Technology
Firezone builds software that companies trust to shuffle packets around quickly and securely. Performance, reliability, and security are key.
Some of the fun, bigger technical challenges we face are:
- Scaling WireGuard & eBPF performance to saturate the fastest network links
- Scaling firewall configuration management to multisite topologies
- Compiling and distributing Erlang applications across many different operating systems and CPU architectures
- Building secure, performant native platform apps that integrate well with enterprise MDM systems
To facilitate the above, Firezone is built primarily in Elixir/Phoenix — we think Erlang and OTP provide the perfect foundation for building a secure, scalable distributed networking product (after all, it powers much of the world’s telecom infrastructure!).
The server application is split into three supervised OTP apps: fz_http for orchestration, fz_vpn for VPN termination, and fz_wall for managing the host firewall. We built it this way to support multi-site topologies (fz_vpn, fz_wall) that can be orchestrated by a central control plane (fz_http).
Some of the low-level kernel interfacing and eBPF compilation will be moving to Rust soon along with a cross-platform core client library that will power the client applications for each platform (Apple, Linux, Windows).
See our architecture diagram:
Interview Process
We value the ability to learn quickly, take ownership, and build over raw years of experience or company logos on your resume. Our goal is to make a well-informed decision based on your ability to do the work you’ll be expected to do at Firezone without subjecting you to a long drawn-out process.
This role requires plenty of writing and speaking. Sending us any samples of past work will help expedite the process.
Our typical process involves:
- Introduction Call - A chance to connect and see if there is interest from both sides, share more about our vision and roadmap, and learn more about your experience.
- Interview Call - We’ll put you in the driver’s seat to plan a customer success initiative. We want to give work you’d do at Firezone and also get a feel for what it’d be like to work with you. Typically this part of the process would be over a video call, with a small take-home exercise as well.
- Follow-up Call (Sometimes) - If we have any additional questions we’ll schedule a short follow up call.
- Background and reference checks.
- Offer Decision

About Brick
We're building the financial OS for general contractors that helps them deliver quality work at scale. We enable them to win more jobs and grow efficiently by 1) standardizing a low down payment option, 2) providing affordable working capital access, and 3) removing any payment collections from the homeowner.
About the role
Please submit your application at https://jobs.lever.co/BrickLabs/. Any applications received outside of this medium will not be considered. Thank you!
Join us in building the financial operating system for general contractors.
Brick is the payments company that helps general contractors deliver high quality work at scale. Homeownership is still the best path towards wealth building in this country, and generates significant economic value for home service providers. But providers like general contractors don’t have the financial services they need to both capture economic value and create positive financial experience for the homeowners. As a result, home improvement projects rank second to used auto sales in total number of consumer complaints per year, and are consistently ranked as the most financially expensive complaints.
We’re creating scalable financial trust by managing the payments between all parties. Even great general contractors need help in managing what is a very financially complex business, and unfortunately most existing financial services just don't reduce enough risk for the contractor nor the homeowner.
We’re looking for the brightest folks to join us on our mission to be thoughtful and intentional in building the financial trust and stability for general contractors and their clients.
If that resonates and you think you can help build our products, team, and culture, we're excited to hear from you!
— The Brick Team
About The Role
As Brick’s first Customer Success Lead, you will have a unique opportunity to help build the customer operations team from the earliest stages. This role combines elements of customer support, transaction management, payment collections, and business operations. You will serve as the digital front-facing representative to our customers (general contractors) and their clients (homeowners).
From the moment our customers decide to work with Brick on their next renovation project, you’ll be their steward, guiding them as they grow their business at scale while planting the seeds for a best-in-class customer experience.
While the work you will do is fully remote and primarily virtual, the way you will communicate extends beyond answering questions and delivering information. To develop a best-in-class experience, you will be building and personalizing relationships in service to customer utilization and lifetime value. This is a high-impact position that directly contributes to both the financial growth of our customers as well as the strategies that will help to define Brick as we grow.
What You’ll Achieve
Manage and engage a pipeline of customer accounts and provide data-driven feedback on related KPIs Prioritize genuinely understanding who our customers are and what their goals are, and use this knowledge to help coach them through Brick lifecycles Work closely with the Head of Customer Operations to build efficient, scalable internal systems that deliver a consistent, high-quality experience to our customers Optimize customer and client response and payment rates though consistent, well-executed follow-up Collaborate with our Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to set our customers up for success
Skills and Toolset You’ll Need to Bring
Empathic Communication. You’re a natural at connecting with people on a human level while balancing the tough conversations like late payment collections or following up with contractors on inaccurate renovation timelines. You hear what people say and seek to understand what they really mean. You adapt your communication style to meet the unique needs of people and translate messages among different stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Adaptivity. As an early stage business, we move fast! We will make business pivots as we better understand our customers and their clients. The work today may look very different in the near future. You’re willing and excited to learn from failure and get right back at it.
Collaboration. You work well with others and excel in a remote-first environment. Brick is a minimal-meeting culture where we believe in balancing asynchronous collaboration with thoughtfully scheduled virtual meetings to empower our teammates to do their best work.
Prioritization. This role manages many stakeholders and competing priorities at once. There are a LOT of details and you’ll be responsible for getting all the finer points correct, every single time. You are adept at juggling multiple things all at once, and skilled at acting with urgency while providing high-quality, positive experiences.
Mindsets and Behaviors You’ll Bring
Curiosity. You are not a machine. You want to understand customer needs on a deeper level to improve processes, communication with external and internal stakeholders, and deliver a delightful experience that empowers customers to return to Brick for their next renovation project.
Solution-Oriented. You love to solve problems. You’re skilled and persistent at getting to the bottom of an issue and resourceful in resolving it efficiently. You excel at finding the simplest solution that not only gets the job done but surprises and delights. You’re always looking for ways that Brick can do things even better.
Positivity and Flexibility. Your default mode is to see the upside. You’re comfortable with ambiguity and in situations that don’t necessarily have a clear answer. You can take action without needing a fully developed roadmap. Even better - you thrive in developing processes and a roadmap to guide future decisions.

About Lago
We're the open-source billing API for usage-based, subscription-based, and all the nuances of pricing in between. With Lago, you can make your billing fit your pricing and business workflows, not the other way around.
Our Story
We built a custom billing system from scratch for Qonto.com, a 5x Fintech unicorn in Europe. That was not the best use of our engineers' time (it's complex to build and to maintain), but we felt 'trapped':
- We did not want to hack around Stripe Billing, or Chargebee, or any of the equivalents to customize it: our pricing was a mix of subscription-based and usage-based, and the existing tools were built for subscription-based businesses
- We did not want to leave precious % of revenue on the table. We resented their rent-seeker approach, and their closed architecture in general, with data being locked in another product. So we went for a home-made billing system, which was far from being perfect.
Lago aims at fixing this problem at scale, with an open architecture by design.
Our Mission
Lago is on a mission to pioneer a ‘Modern Pricing Stack’*, for Product Led companies.
- Pricing and all its components (billing, payments, invoicing, cash collection, etc.) are one of the most critical business pillars, and are yet to be systemized.
- Billing and pricing questions are still one of the most common sources of customer support tickets, and that’s only the tip of the iceberg.
- Incumbent pricing tools have been built around a “closed architecture” mindset: keeping critical data locked to claim to be the “source of truth”, closing numerous parts of their APIs, only integrating with specific partners to lock you in (e.g., Stripe Billing only working with Stripe Payments), to finally collect a rent-seeker tax on transactions (0.5-1% of revenues). We believe in a more open pricing stack, that interconnects with the company’s internal workflows and systems, with a fairer revenue model.
'* inspired by the ‘Modern Data Stack’ movement (read more here: https://www.fivetran.com/blog/what-is-the-modern-data-stack)
Our Values
- Ambition: we aim big, because otherwise, where is the fun?
- Progress: we care more about the grit, the steep learning curve, the resilience and creativity muscles, than the current status or where you come from.
- Humble confidence: we know our strengths and always strive for excellence, but we also know there’s so much we don’t know yet
- Pay it forward: we’ve all started somewhere, people gave us a hand when we needed one, we don’t forget this, and reinforce this positive cycle

About Benchling
Benchling is building a platform for cutting-edge life science research: gene therapy, cellular immunotherapy, synthetic biology, etc. Our mission is to accelerate research and magnify its impact by bringing modern software to this historically underserved space.
Research today means disparate tools, manual data entry, and lots of Excel and paper. We provide an integrated platform for designing and running experiments, analyzing data, and sharing results. Scientists are able to work faster, while organizations can collect and tap into their vast institutional knowledge for the first time.
About the Team Benchling was founded in 2013 by a team of MIT graduates and has since raised funding from investors that include Y Combinator, Andreessen Horowitz, and Thrive Capital. Our team of 300 includes former Salesforce executives, tech industry veterans from Google, Facebook, Palantir, and Twitter, and biology PhDs from UCSF and Harvard. We hire people who love learning and learn quickly - building tools for science requires a scientific mindset.
Our engineering team of nearly 100 is growing quickly. We're looking for engineers who thrive on teamwork, crave ownership and impact, and are driven to make a dent in our space.
About the role
Benchling’s developer platform exposes APIs and interfaces to connect a company’s digital source of truth to the real world, and extend how Benchling itself works. Our customers write custom scientific analysis logic, and have it run after certain actions. Instruments automatically upload measurements into Benchling as they’re taken. In some cases, entire experimental processes are designed in Benchling and carried out by robots, which measure out samples and move them from one instrument to the next.
The potential of these integrations is extraordinary, but it’s still fundamentally built customer-by-customer. We’re building out an app ecosystem to change that. In a couple years, any customer, including the majority of small ones who don’t have engineering teams, will be able to install apps to hook Benchling up to their lab instruments, run more specialized analyses, and connect to other common software platforms they have. Think about Salesforce’s AppExchange, or Slack Apps — these took the potential of their developer platforms and gave it to every customer, and created an entire marketplace for third-parties to extend further. Labs have the same need, and are waiting for something like this.
The framework for building apps on Benchling is already underway, and we support basic apps now. We’re on track to have a dozen or so built on it by the end of the year. We need somebody to chart the path forward from there, and develop the burgeoning ecosystem that sits at the intersection of biology and tech.
YOUR IMPACT
*Define the 2-3 year vision and product roadmap for our app ecosystem
*Work with our eng team to design and launch our app framework
*Work closely with our customers to understand how they’re using our product, their needs, and their pain points
*Partner with our strategy team to develop an approach for how we’ll build out the ecosystem. E.g. the order to tackle different market segments, what apps (or classes of apps) we should encourage first, etc.
*Partner with strategy, sales, and marketing to develop our pricing, packaging, and distribution models for the ecosystem
ABOUT YOU
*8+ years as a Product Manager (or a similar role), working with enterprise software and integrations
*3+ years experience working on app ecosystems
*Track record of being data-influenced, with sound reasoning for strategy decisions from that data
*Excellent at listening to others and articulating ideas in written and oral form
*Influential leadership and interpersonal skills that enable you to build strong relationships with customers, your reports, company peers, and executives

- 5+ years of full-time employment working on web applications, ideally at high growth companies
- Significant experience with Python
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines

- Not taking ourselves too seriously: we are ambitious, restless learners and hustlers, but at the end of the day, our health (physical and mental), and our loved ones are what matter the most.
About the role
The team and your role
We're a team of 7 today, and we're all about Product and Tech. You’ll work directly with our CEO Anh-Tho on go-to-market.
In order to create value to our customers, your role includes:
- Short and mid-term: Launch: you will source, score, help onboard the first cohort of Lago users through the different phases of launch. You will be at the crossroads, the main point of contact for our users, and for our engineering/product team as well. You will centralize and lead us to iterate on the feedbacks as fast as possible.
- The bigger picture: position Lago as the ‘de facto’ expert in billing/pricing, and the most open and developer-friendly billing API. This will require lots of iterations and you will join forces with Anh-Tho on both strategy and (a lot) of hands-on execution. This can include: community building, developer relations, producing/distributing technical and business content (text, voice, video, whatever our target prefers), partnerships building, and a lot of things we have not thought about yet.
The person we are looking for
- 3+ years of experience with a mix between engineering and go-to-market: typically as a solutions or growth engineer, as a business person who reconverted to engineering later on, as a former founder, as an engineer who had business or open-source side projects. We’re open and looking for an hybrid background.
- You must have used APIs in production before.
- Great communication skills; experience in working in a remote-first environment on a distributed team is a huge plus
- A genuine passion for data products, dev tools, APIs
- A real appetite for the early stages of co-creating and positioning a brand, a product and shaping Lago's future
- Bonus: you’ve contributed to one or several of these areas in the past: open-source projects, devtools, fintech, B2B SaaS
Technology
- Back-end: Ruby, Postgres, AWS
- Front-end: .js, React, GraphQL, Typescript
Interview Process
Typical process
- 20-min first call
- Technical/business case
- Review of the case with the team
- Offer
What we commit to
- Your time is precious, and we'll do our very best to be time-conscious with yours.
- If you're open to it, we commit to give you the most constructive feedback as possible on your case, as we are aware it's quite an investment of time on your side.
- We approach recruiting as a 2-way street, we make offers when we have a strong conviction on the mutual fit: in terms of skills, mindset, cultural fit.

About DreamWorld
DreamWorld is the massive digital world where everyone creates together. Think Minecraft or Roblox, except one immersive social world.
Look at the software that has fundamentally changed how people live: Search (Google), Social Networks (Facebook), Ecommerce (Amazon). Now think of what will come in the next 25. One of these monumental shifts will be the pervasiveness of the Digital World, and it is our goal to create it.
We believe this Digital World will rise out of the medium that's had the seeds of it for a while, Gaming. So we are building the largest MMO ever. Our gameplay revolves around Social and User Creation. To oversimplify, our initial goal is creating a successor to Minecraft and World of Warcraft.
