With the recent launch of dYdX Chain - a fully decentralized and open-sourced version of the dYdX protocol - it is crucial for the dYdX community to actively engage in promoting the growth and expansion of the dYdX DAO. The dYdX Operations subDAO is the second dYdX subDAO, first established through an on-chain proposal that passed on December 18th, 2022. In 2023, the subDAO was granted a further $6.6m in funding by the dYdX community to provide crucial infrastructure for the dYdX Chain.

We are now looking to expand our dynamic team with a part-time, remote DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a range of key projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage web applications on Vercel, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery.
• Handle iOS and Android app deployments using Bitrise, maintaining high standards of performance, and timely execution.
• Keep GitHub repositories in sync with upstream repositories, ensuring alignment with ongoing development work and industry best practices.
• Perform routine configurations on Terraform cloud instances, including editing variables and updating service endpoints.
• Monitor performance dashboards for third-party services, ensuring optimal efficiency and uptime.
• Respond to and manage emergency situations following established protocols and rule books.

Preferred Qualifications:

What you’ll do

In this role, youll help us build Cloudflare Browser Isolation, a secure remote browsing platform that protects users from security threats on the Internet. As an engineer on the Browser Isolation team, you will focus on designing, building, and scaling our Chromium-based distributed browsing engine. You will also contribute to the control plane that enables distributed Chromium-based browsers to deliver low-latency remote browsing for our users at scale across our global anycast network. BGD (Bored Ghosts Developing) is a Web3 and DeFi development initiative, with roots in the Aave protocol ecosystem and currently being one of the main technical contributors there.

By joining us, you will be working with a team doing awesome things like:

We are building BOB, a new way for builders to experiment and innovate with usable decentralization while retaining Bitcoin security. We are seeking an experienced Smart Contract Engineer to implement core smart contracts on BOB and extend our Solidity libraries in the BOB SDK.
