About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Front-end Engineer to join our Marketing Hub team as we aim to make Circle the top choice for creator/brand-led communities. You’ll be working on features related to Member Management Areas, Member Invite Flows, Member Sign Up/Authentication, Workflows, and Marketing/Bulk Emails.

In this role, you will partake in all stages of the development lifecycle, from initial task definition to final deployment. As a senior engineer, you’ll break down large epics into actionable tasks, follow through with development and testing, review PRs, push updates to production, and gradually release behind feature flags. Your responsibilities will also include bug-fixing and continuous improvement of the codebase. This role requires a high level of technical proficiency and a strong understanding of software development best practices.

What you’ll be doing

• Work on a frontend architecture written in React.js, Ruby on Rails, and Tailwind.js.
• Build critical features and improvements for our web app.
• Improve the quality of our codebase, identify architectural deficiencies, and create achievable paths to solve/evolve them.
• Work closely with Circle’s leaders throughout the feature spec + design process.
• Work closely with our designers to design and develop a world-class user experience.

What you’ll need to be successful

• You are proficient in English (spoken, written, and reading) at a CEFR Level C2 / ILR Level 5.
• 5+ years of full-stack experience designing and building high-volume, scalable SaaS applications from end-to-end. Strong proficiency in React and Tailwind CSS, with Typescript and Ruby on Rails being nice to haves.
• Experience leading/architecting complex user interfaces and API design.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Software Security Engineer who will help us develop and enhance our in-house security tooling for automation. BuildBook Overview:

BuildBook is an aircraft restoration ERP system developed to organize and track the restoration of complex aircraft projects. BuildBook consists of major elements, the organization of data and resources, the management of conformity information and the management of parts purchased and fabricated. The program was developed with a ground approach from the technicians on the restoration shop floor working directly with the programmer who created it.

BuildBook is broken down into three primary functions including Search, Project Pages, and Reports. Searching by part/assembly number will produce a list of all projects which utilize that part. Each project page includes a full Bill of Materials for the entire project, but can also be dialed-in to part lists for specific assemblies. Reports allow users to compile information for several topics related to each project.

AirCorps Library Overview:

AirCorps Library is an online service that provides vintage aircraft manufacturing drawings, specifications, and documents/manuals to paid subscribers. The library consists of approximately 500,000 drawings and 12,000 documents. The backing storage for those resources is made up of approximately 570,000,000 files (blobs) requiring approximately 12TB of data storage.

AirCorps Library differentiates between subscribers and non-subscribers, and offers specific data to the users in these two demographics. Subscribers and non-subscribers access the AirCorps Library website from different platforms, each of which is managed by a separate program.
